This app has been blocked for your protection is a Windows security alert which may come up if an application is deemed untrusted and blocked according to a security policy. Prior to taking steps to bypass this, you should determine the authenticity of the file, its publisher, and the digital signature, if any. You can also use the Windows Security tab, App & browser control, to determine if reputation based protection or Smart App Control is used in your case. In case the file is legit but Windows is blocking its download, the Properties dialog box may allow you to unblock it.
