Code 95 is required for truck drivers that want to work professionally in Europe. This document is also required for drivers coming from Ukraine as well as other non EU countries.

Professional driving skills are becoming increasingly crucial in a world where there is a great value on transportation for economic growth and for the movement of people and goods. However, getting this ability isn't inexpensive. You have to be aware of a range of expenses, including the cost for training and the test. In the Netherlands getting Code 95 may cost as nearly 3000 euros. The cost of obtaining this certificate in Poland can be as low as 1500-2000 PLN.
For truck drivers who are licensed to drive trucks, the Code 95 certificate is necessary to drive trucks weighing more than 7.5 tons in Europe. The certificate is valid for five years and must be added to the driver's license category C or prawo Jazdy c+e. The certificate can be added to C1 or C1E licenses, allowing the driver to use lighter trailer combinations.
To receive a Code 95 certificate, you must pass a medical examination and pass an exam called a psychotest. After completing the course, you will receive a plastic Code 95 certificate that can be added to your driving licence. The course fee includes a medical examination, PKZ service and payment for the plastic Code 95 Certificate.
The cost of the Code 95 certificate is similar to other types of driving courses. It is also important to note that the course must be conducted at an accredited driving school certified by the CBR. Trainers must follow strict CBR protocols. Trainers must immediately notify the CBR if, for example students are absent.
The trainee must then visit the Road Traffic Safety Directorate and apply for the renewal of their license. The deadline for renewing the licence is six months from the date that the course was completed. This requirement is intended to ensure that the driver has the required level of competence and knowledge to drive a heavy vehicle. In addition, the driver must also be able to read the kilometer and speed limit signs posted on the road.
Training options
The code 95 on a driver's licence indicates that you have completed the required instruction to drive buses or trucks professionally. This is a requirement you must meet every five years to renew your work permit. The regular training is 35 hours of classes and can be taken at a driving school or at home (e-learning). It is possible to spread out the course over a period of five years. The course is usually covered by your employer.
There are two types of training available for Code 95: the long course and the shorter course. The long course runs for about four weeks in length and ends with a test administered by the government. After passing the exam you will receive an ID card made of plastic. The card must be entered into the database of unified European certificates. The school where you studied will then send it to the database. It will take 14 days to process the card.
The cost of the lengthy course is around 2,000 PLN, and the exam costs 300 PLN. You will also have pay a fee to the school to submit your certificate to the unified European database. When the card is approved, you can collect it at the school.
As a trainer, you must follow the guidelines to be able to offer a course that issues Code 95. You must first submit a plan of instruction to the CBR. The plan must be approved by the CBR prior to classes begin. You will also be required to follow the strict rules throughout the course.
You will receive an official certificate from the CBR when you have successfully completed the course. Then, you can send it to the RDW. You will then be able renew your license at the municipality once you have submitted it successfully. If you do not renew your license before the expiry date you won't be able to legally drive for more than 12 hours per week. If you plan to drive more than 12 hours per week, you'll need to enroll in a new course.
Exams
In order to get the code 95 indication on your licence, you must pass both the theoretical and practical tests. These exams can be taken separately, or as part of the acquisition of a basic category license at a driving school. After passing the test, you will be awarded a certificate as well as a code 95 card. The card is valid for five years and has to be renewed by the expiration date.
You can select either a short or a lengthy course for the code 95 examination, according to the training program. The long course is about four weeks, and it concludes with a governmental test. This exam asks you to answer 30 questions on the topics covered in your classes.

The largest driving licence in Europe is the C-license. In the Netherlands, the requirement is that you pass the initial qualification for professional drivers at the Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen, or CBR, in Dutch). You must also have a medical examination.
You also need a driving license C or D for buses and passenger cars. Bus drivers must pass both a written and oral test. In addition, they must be able to show a code 85 which is a proof of their professionalism.
